Lately, I’ve been seeing more and more people reading an actual book—paperback—on buses, trains, planes, and even parks. The thought of it all makes me smile. I don’t know. Call me old fashioned, but I love the feel of books, the cover design, the tangible object I adore thumbing through in a bookstore, deciding on, buying from a sales clerk, and carrying with me everywhere I go, reading any and every chance I get.
Secretly, I hope there is enough nostalgia in the world to hold on to this very little matter of reading paperbacks.
