How Reading Improves Your Health


I decided to share an article I found here with all of you. Well, in large part those of you who haven’t seen the article or know anything about the subject matter. The reason I appreciated it is because I know a few people, adults, mostly, who have admitted to me that they don’t read. Nor care to, or have the patience to read. My first reaction of course was that I was shocked, then I felt sorry for them, because I realized they are missing out on one of the greater advantages in life; reading for pleasure, reading to learn, reading to broaden one’s mind and even reading to be inspired. I can’t understand how any person, able to read, would want to go through life choosing not to?

So, when I found this article I had to share it, informing everyone I can, how reading also improves your health.

  • Increased Empathy
  • Increases Tolerance for Uncertainty
